We could not hav asked for a better DJ to work with. Winston went above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations! Any questions we had he answered, if we needed a recommendation for another vendor he shared all of his resources, not to mention he was the best hype man of the evening.

We loved working the Gaines entertainment. It was very organized and it was so nice having a portal to see payments and keep your music and timeline all together and clear. Louie was our DJ and he was so easy to work with and always responsive and available for questions and making our personalizes happen. Really wonderful experience and made our wedding day so fun. We were worried about having a DJ at our small wedding (around 50 people) and there just being an empty dance floor. Mr. Gaines was a total hype man at our wedding! Honestly the most fun I've had on the dance floor in a while. He tried to get in all the songs we requested and smoothed the 80's and Latin vibe we had in our mixed wedding. We have no problem recommending his services. A+

Stephen was our DJ, he provided the best environment, & really listened to our suggestion but added great songs we didn't even think of. HANDS DOWN BEST DJ EVERRRR !  Prior to booking we spoke with Winston and he answered all our questions, very responsive and so down to earth! He knew exactly what we wanted and was so easy to work with. He is very professional and hilarious! We had minor song changes closer to our big day and without any hesitation he got it done. My husband and I are very blessed and grateful to have Winston. EVERYONE ! And I mean EVERY ONE of our guests stepped foot onto the dance floor and were having the time of their lives! We used Winston for our wedding. We planned our wedding while being long distance so getting us and all our venders was more difficult. The experience and professionalism shown really help us and it showed on our special day. Winston is seriously just THE BEST! He made sure everything ran smoothly for our wedding ceremony and reception. He played songs with personal touches between speeches (for example my MOH talked about our love for Harry Potter, then he played some music from Harry Potter in transition to the next person). He kept everyone out on the dance floor and having fun all night long! Also, everyone was buzzing about how his assistant who ran the photo booth was so great! You will not regret your decision if you choose to hire him for your event!

First of all, DJ Gumby is hilarious!!! He was our DJ for our wedding reception and he crushed it. He was very professional and even had multiple Zoom meetings with us to go over details. He and his team provided a photo booth for us, a beautiful gobo light projection and indoor/outdoor sparklers. The Gaines entertainment setup/equipment was very cool and professional. DJ Gumby and his team were early to the venue to setup (which we greatly appreciated) and was nice enough to talk to me and my bride before the ceremony started, making us feel relaxed. He was perfect in his timing from the wedding party introductions all the way to our final/private dance. DJ Gumby is clearly very experienced and knows how to MC a wedding (including handling one of my more diva groomsman - haha). My beautiful bride and I were laughing all night, dancing all night and relaxed. You have to hire this company for your wedding, they are the best! Thank you Winston!

We used Gaines entertainment to dj our wedding and honestly they did a superb job. Louie was very positive and energetic. He helped us in any way we needed .The music selection kept our event lively and our dance floor was never empty. I don’t even know where to start! Our October 9th wedding was everything we ever dreamed and we could not have been happier with Winston. Not only was he an amazing DJ and MC, but he also came through last minute with our photo booth and sparklers for the exit. They really have it all! He was cool, calm, collected and kept everyone grooving all night. Our guests were begging for more and dancing their tails off. Winston was so easy to work with leading up to the big day, his experience and professionalism was obvious from the beginning. We converted several “live band only” old schoolers into Winston Gaines DJ fans! I could go on and on but I think you get the point…10/10, 5 stars, 100% fantastic choice!

He had us fill out forms that enabled us to lay out exactly what songs would play when, any “must plays,” “do not plays,” etc. The direction that he gave us helped immensely with the planning of our day. I was SO nervous that our vows wouldn’t be heard during the ceremony (we’ve been to so many weddings like that), but Winston made it happen. Everyone heard the vows that we both worked so hard on! The sound was heard throughout the whole chapel. The week of our wedding we received a sound clip that we really wanted played during our grand entrance. Winston worked some magic and even managed to make it a surprise! We were beyond thrilled! Winston kept the dance floor alive and well, all night. We received numerous compliments on his ability to keep so many groups dancing and having a great time... the whole time! Winston nailed it as our DJ. The most thoughtful, organized and intuitive DJ you will find! We were originally suppose to have our wedding in Colorado, but due to COVID we made the tough decision to move it to Fredericksburg. Long story short I had to re-plan my wedding in the time frame of 3 weeks and choose all new vendors. Even though it was so last minute, Winston went out of his way to make it happen! I can not stress enough how satisfied we are with Gaines Entertainment services! My husband and I are NOT people that like to be the center of attention which of course Winston picked up on. We also had my 2.5 year old niece attend our wedding as one of the only kids, and in our family the world does involve around her. Considering these two factors Winston made sure to entertain her to take the attention off of us. My mom mentioned to me that "she would take 10 of Winston any day" over someone else we crossed paths with. My now husband never met Winston and you would have thought they knew each other well the way they clicked. DJ’s are the vendors that you don’t really know about them until you see them in action, and Winston did not disappoint. He is such a super cool guy and was so fun to have at our wedding. He catered to the crowd with what got people up and dancing, which pretty much everyone did. Everyone had so much fun and was raving about him. Gaines Entertainment also provided the photo booth and everyone loved it. There was always someone there taking pictures and boomerangs. Throughout the process before the wedding I also received emails with how much time was left, different tips and things that we should be getting done around that time. It was actually really helpful and much appreciated. I’m beyond pleased with our choice and so happy we got to work with him.
